Strategies for Driving Adoption

Successful implementation of CoLab requires strategic approaches to user engagement:

Communication Planning

Develop a multi-channel communication strategy thinking about the tools you use right now, including the CoLab platform
Create clear messaging about the benefits of CoLab
Address potential concerns proactively (time commitment, data privacy, etc.)
Highlight early success stories. We love to hear these and can work with you to create engaging materials such as blogs, graphics and posts you can simply reshare!
Share out regular CoLab updates about platform enhancements. We will also communicate this through our in-app and email notifications

Incentive Programs

Recognition for active contributors and celebration of collaboration milestones using the CoLab Community Feed, your school newsletter, or social media
Acknowledge time on CoLab towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours
Offer awards or certificates for contributions such as creating quality resources or answeing questions regulary in groups
Spotlight innovation in staff meetings or newsletters, or to the parent and greater community through social media and other channels

Training Approaches

Work with the CoLab team to host personalized training and onboarding sessions by roles, grade level, subject area, etc. 👋
Encourage peer-led training sessions built into the schedule or provide relief time
Create your own "tips and tricks" communications to show how you are using the platform in bite-sized pieces
Spread the word about any CoLab webinars, meet-ups or experiences
