Contributing Resources

Share your teaching expertise and learn from colleagues through CoLab's resource sharing. This powerful feature transforms isolated teaching into collaborative innovation, allowing you to build on others' ideas while receiving feedback and recognition for your contributions to the education community.

For General CoLab Users

1. Navigate to “Resources” from the left navigation menu
2. Click "Add Your Own Resource" button from the top left
3. Complete the resource details (title, description, etc.)
4. Add appropriate tags to make your resource discoverable
5. Upload any media (including files or links)
6. Add a resource banner image to make it stand out
7. Click "Publish" to share your resource

Notes: All resources you publish will be added to your “My CoLab” space under “My Published Resources.” All resources will also automatically be public, as you don't have access to private sharing options

For Organization Members

1. Navigate to “Resources” from the left navigation menu
2. Click "Add Your Own Resource" button from the top left
3. Complete the resource details (title, description, etc.)
4. Set Resource Visibility:
   • Choose "Public" to share with all CoLab users
   • Choose "Private" to share only within your organization
5. Add appropriate tags to make your resource discoverable
