Joining Groups

Participate in focused discussions, share resources, and build professional relationships through CoLab's group features. Groups transform isolated teaching into collaborative communities, allowing you to connect with colleagues who share your educational interests and challenges.

For General CoLab Users

1. Click on "Groups" in the left navigation menu
2. Browse available public groups or search for specific communities using the search by bar
3. Click on a group to view details and join
4. Click "Request Group" to start your own public group

Note: All groups you join will be added to both your “My Groups” tile in the groups space and your "My CoLab" space under "My Groups."

For Organization Members

1. Click on "Groups" in the left navigation menu
2. Browse all available groups (both public and private) or search for specific communities using the search bar
3. Click on a group to view details and join
4. Click "Request Group" to start your own group and set whether it will be public or private

Note: All groups you join will be added to both your “My Groups” tile in the groups space and your "My CoLab" space under "My Groups."

• Public Groups: Ensure discussions don't contain organization-specific information, student data, or proprietary content
